Midland Park NJ, a young resident of Midland Park, New Jersey, is embarking on an ambitious project to revitalize a key historical area in the borough, and he’s inviting the community to be a part of it. Owen Thimme, a Life Scout with Midland Park Boy Scout Troop 157, has announced his plan to create a new sitting area and monument outside Borough Hall as his Eagle Scout project.

North Arlington NJ, Dylan Sullivan, the Senior Patrol Leader of BSA Troop 86 in Lyndhurst, spearheaded an Eagle Scout project at Holy Cross Cemetery and Mausoleum in North Arlington. The project aimed to restore and honor the graves of fallen soldiers dating back to the Civil War, Spanish-American War, and World War I.

Upper Saddle River NJ, On October 30, 2016, team members from Special Properties Real Estate Services, LLC were among a gathering of donors, local leaders and members of the community who gathered at the rededication of the Hopper Slave Cemetery in Upper Saddle River. The restoration of the cemetery, made possible through individual and corporate donors, like Special Properties, was led by the Upper Saddle River Historical Society and Daniel Hynes, a local high school student who made the cemetery restoration his Eagle Scout project.
