Ridgewood NJ, after much debate and delay the Gold Star Families Monument is unveiled and dedicated in Ridgewood . The Village of Ridgewood council was accompanied by State Senator Kristin M. Corrado (R), State Assemblyman Christopher P. DePhillips (R), Congressman Josh Gottheimer (D) and American Legion Post 53 Commander Bob Paoli  . Councilmembers Mayor Paul Vagianos, Deputy Mayor Pamela R. Perron ,Councilmember Evan Weitz ,  and Councilmember Siobhan Winograd we also in attendance .

Ridgewood NJ, on September 29th at 4:30 pm, please join the Village of Ridgewood as American Legion Post 53 unveils and dedicates the Gold Star Families Monument at Memorial Park in Van Neste Square. This is a project that has been years in the making through the tireless efforts of Ridgewood’s American Legion Post 53. Let’s all be there to show our Gold Star Families how much their sacrifice means to us all.‍

Highlights (and low lights) from the Ridgewood Village Council Meeting of June 14th

Ridgewood NJ, highlights (and low lights) from the Village Council Meeting of June 14:

1. Outgoing police Chief Jacqueline Luthcke was honored with a proclamation. Everyone on the Council praised her. Councilwoman Winograd mentioned that it spoke so well of Luthcke that she had been chosen years ago by her peers to be the Chief. Apparently Winograd has no idea how the Police Chief is selected. It is not a popularity contest. Winograd loves to brag that she deals in facts. Well she got this all wrong.
