Ridgewood NJ, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) Acting Director Matthew T. Albence held a White House press briefing Thursday to explain how sanctuary policies threaten public safety and called on the public to hold their local lawmakers accountable. The briefing made clear that local jurisdictions across the U.S. that refuse to cooperate with ICE are complicit in the crimes committed by aliens who ICE could have otherwise been arrested and removed.
Ridgewood NJ, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) Enforcement and Removal Operations (ERO) arrested 54 individuals throughout New Jersey during a weeklong action targeting public safety threats who were released from local law enforcement custody into the community instead of being transferred to ICE.

Hackensack NJ, The Bergen County Republican candidates are applauding the Ocean County Freeholders for filing a federal lawsuit against the state Attorney General’s office. The lawsuit was filed in response to a statewide edict that severely limits cooperation between state law enforcement agencies and federal immigration authorities (ICE).
“Ocean County Freeholders are standing up to Gov. Murphy and the Attorney General to support law enforcement and protect the public. Sadly, we can only wish the Democrat Bergen County freeholders had such courage,” said BCRO Chairman Jack Zisa.
Hackensack NJ under the ruse of “National Week of Action” to “Defund Hate” will conclude with a Rally on the steps of the Bergen County Court House at 6PM!
The rally is being promoted by the usual suspect groups like Indivisible NJ5, Make the Road NJ, NJ Alliance for Immigrant Justice, JOLT, Women for Progress, Bergen County Chapter of the NAACP, The Bergen County Immigrant Strategy Group, Women of Action, Glen Rock After the March, Mahwah After the March .
“We are headed towards disaster as a state and maybe as a country too. If the governor and attorney general in NJ do not respect the federal law and actually strongly speak against it then we have a lawless state. If I personally broke a law I would be arrested and taken to court. Why are these 2 individuals above the law and nobody says anything about them? As per voting them into office I do not understand who voted for them. Local FB pages show an average of 80-90% of posters speaking against them. Who voted for them??? Maybe it was just the large cities where the bulk of people live?!”
Trenton NJ, Senator Jim Holzapfel and Assemblymen Greg McGuckin and Dave Wolfe of the 10th Legislative District are speaking out against Governor Murphy’s directive forcing jails in the state to reduce their cooperation with federal immigration authorities. The legislators blasted it as yet another step in the Governor’s quest to turn New Jersey into a sanctuary state.
“Governor Murphy’s directive will prevent our jails from working with ICE to deport known criminals who are already in custody,” said Senator Holzapfel. “It’s an outrageous and dangerous political statement that jeopardizes the safety of millions of New Jersey residents. We shouldn’t allow the Governor to create a sanctuary for criminals in our state.”
Ridgewood NJ, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) relies upon the cooperation of local law enforcement officials to expeditiously remove dangerous criminals from our communities. ICE’s Enforcement and Removal Operations’ (ERO) mission is to identify, arrest and remove aliens who present a danger to national security or are a risk to public safety.
There is an inherent increase in risk to personnel and bystanders when ICE officers and agents must go out into the community to proactively locate these previously detained criminal aliens. ICE commends our local law enforcement colleagues who work to minimize that risk by cooperating with ICE to apprehend criminal aliens at the time of their release from local custody.

NEWARK NJ, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) arrested 13 immigration violators in New Jersey during a 4-day surge effort that targeted aliens who have been issued a final order of removal in the past five years, have failed to depart the United States, and have received criminal convictions or have pending criminal charges.“As this operation clearly demonstrates, ICE continues to focus its efforts first on public safety threats,” said ERO Newark Field Office Director John Tsoukaris. “The vast majority of the individuals targeted in this effort have criminal offenses in addition to their immigration violations, making them among the highest priority for enforcement.”

BOSTON MA, A Massachusetts State Court Judge and Trial Court Officer were indicted today in federal court in Boston on obstruction of justice charges for preventing an U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officer from taking custody of an alien defendant, it was announced by ICE leadership in Boston and the U.S. Attorney for the District of Massachusetts.
NEWARK NJ, A Mexican national who was previously deported, with convictions for indecent assault of a minor and DUI, is among 123 foreign nationals taken into custody during a month-long operation conducted by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) in New Jersey. The operation, which was spearheaded by ICE Enforcement and Removal Operations (ERO), targeted at-large criminal aliens, illegal re-entrants and other immigration violators who had prior arrests or convictions for DUI.
Of those arrested during the operation, 90 percent had prior criminal convictions and/or pending criminal charges.“The remarkable results of our officers and law enforcement partners highlight ICE’s ongoing commitment to public safety,” said John Tsoukaris, Field Office Director of ERO Newark. “This operation focuses on the arrest of individuals convicted of serious crimes and are a threat to public safety. Because of the targeted efforts of these professional and dedicated officers, there are 123 fewer criminals in our communities.”
NEWARK NJ, An Indian national removed by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s (ICE) Enforcement and Removal Operations (ERO) for immigration violations and turned over to Indian authorities is wanted in his home country on attempted murder, criminal conspiracy, extortion, forgery, cheating, theft, abetment use and possession of illegal firearms, and transmission of information by using the internet to form an organized crime syndicate.
Ubaidullah Abdulrashid Radiowala, also known as Obed Radiowala, entered the U.S. illegally. Trenton NJ, Governor Phil Murphy plays the fool on the heels of President Donald J. Trump’s Border Wall Address. Murphy said ,“President Trump continues to mislead to justify his nonsensical and damaging shutdown. There is a much better and smarter way for us to invest $5 billion than an impractical non-starter of a wall. The Gateway Project would do more to create jobs, promote economic and national security, and build critically needed 21st century infrastructure. Enough of the misguided rhetoric that is hurting our economy and our people, and making us less safe. Let’s get the government open and get to work to get Gateway done.”
We want to take this minute to remind Governor Murphy that an illegal immigrant released by a “sanctuary city” county in New Jersey was charged with a triple homicide halfway across the country in Missouri. Luis Rodrigo Perez stands accused of being the gunman in a shooting rampage last week that claimed the lives of two men and one woman at two homes.
U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement said it had tried to deport Perez after he was arrested on domestic violence charges in Middlesex County, New Jersey, last year. But the county, which has a noncooperation policy with ICE, refused to alert federal agents when it released Perez in February.“Had ICE’s detainer request in December 2017 been honored by Middlesex County Jail, Luis Rodrigo Perez would have been placed in deportation proceedings and likely sent home to his country — and three innocent people might be alive today,” said Corey Price, acting ICE executive associate director.John Tsoukaris, ICE’s deportation operations field director in Newark, New Jersey, called Middlesex County’s policy reckless.
Many believe the governor, state attorney general and Middlesex County all have blood on their hands.
