On the evening of October 15, 2025, the Westwood Police Department responded to an urgent call regarding a missing and endangered person. What began as a traditional search quickly became a testament to the effectiveness of modern policing tools.

Paramus Man 28, Missing Last Seen In Hackensack, Paramus Police Say

Paramus NJ, The Paramus Police Department is attempting to locate Sean Gately, a 28 year old male who was last seen in the Hackensack area wearing a red sweatshirt, gray sweatpants and black/white Nike sneakers.

He is 6 foot 2 and approximately 180 pounds. Mr. Gately does not have access to a vehicle. If seen please contact the Paramus Police Department at 201-262-3400.

Abandon Car Found in Alpine, Police Search for Owner

Alpine NJ, the Palisades Interstate Parkway Police are actively pursuing the whereabouts of an individual reported missing on Wednesday in Alpine. Law enforcement discovered an unoccupied white 2022 Mazda CX-5 at the Alpine Lookout, registered to a person reported missing to the New York City Police Department the day before, intensifying concerns. Although the missing person remains unidentified, the Palisades Interstate Parkway Police, in collaboration with the Rockland County Sheriff’s Office Drone and K-9 units, conducted a comprehensive search operation. Despite K-9 tracking leading to an area along the cliffs’ edge, the New Jersey Search and Rescue Team was summoned, and various search methods yielded no immediate results. The investigation is a joint effort between the Parkway Police Detective Bureau and the NYPD 1st Precinct Detective Squad. Authorities encourage residents and visitors to provide any information that may assist in the ongoing investigation by contacting the Palisades Interstate Parkway Police Department at 201-768-6001.

We are attempting to locate June Cross, 87, of New Milford. Ms. Cross left a meeting in Midland Park this morning and did not return home. She was operating a 2009 Honda Accord, color grey, NJ resgistration F76CFE. Ms. Cross is deaf and cannot hear. At 4 p.m. today, Ms. Cross made contact with the New Windsor, NY Police who gave her directions back to New Milford. Body of Missing Oradell Talent Agent found

Oradell NJ, sad news to report authorities confirmed that the body of Mark Schlegel, the talent agent from Oradell who has been missing for 11 days, has been discovered.

A Bergen County official confirmed on Thursday afternoon that the body of the missing man had been discovered.

Schlegel, 57, who worked for the Manhattan-based Cornerstone Talent agency had been missing since Sunday. Aug 13. He was last seen near Soldier Hill Road. According to reports  a bloodhound detected his scent near a bus stop , while other reports suggest and officer found the body near Kinderkamack Road.
