New Jersey Department of Labor Shuts Down 27 Boston Markets Including 11 in Bergen and Passaic Counties

Trenton NJ, On August 14, 2023, the New Jersey Department of Labor and Workforce Development (NJDOL) issued 27 stop-work orders to Boston Market locations across the state after finding multiple violations of workers’ rights, including more than $600,000 in back wages owed to 314 workers.

Worker Misclassification Case Against Lyft Heads to an Administrative Law Judge

NJ Public Works Contractor Owes $1.2 Million in Back Wages

Bayonne NJ,  Three Sons Restoration LLC of Union was assessed approximately $2.75 million in back wages, penalties, and fees following a New Jersey Department of Labor and Workforce Development (NJDOL) investigation into the contractor’s failure to pay its employees the state prevailing wage at six job sites.
