Residential Burglary Suspects Scared off by Residents and Alarm Activation in Upper Saddle River

Upper Saddle River NJ, the Upper Saddle River Police Department is investigating a residential burglary that occurred around 0830 PM Tuesday evening on the southeast part of town. The perpetrators forced entry into the home but were scared off by both the residents and an alarm activation. The incident is currently under investigation and no further information is available at this time. Please continue to immediately report any suspicious activity to the Upper Saddle River Police Department.

Upper Saddle River Police Department is Investigating an Attempted Residential Burglary

Upper Saddle River NJ, on Tuesday October 10th the Upper Saddle River Police Department is investigating an attempted residential burglary on the southwest part of town, that occurred during the overnight hours. The incident is most likely related to an attempt to steal the vehicle that was parked in the driveway. Please continue to lock all house and car doors. Do not leave key fobs in vehicles. If you see something suspicious, please immediately call the Upper Saddle River Police Department at 201-327-2700.

The Washington Township Police Department alerts residents of recent uptick in residential burglaries

Twp of Washington NJ, the Washington Township Police Department wants to alert residents that there’s been a recent uptick in residential burglaries.  Recently there has been two residential burglary’s on our East Side of town.  In both cases, the point of entry was made by entering/breaking into the rear doors of the homes.  Both homes were entered at random times and were unoccupied. The Washington Township Police Department is investigating both of these burglaries.

Couple from Newark Charged in Glen Rock Residential Burglary

Glen Rock NJ, the Glen Rock Police Department Detective Bureau completed an on-going investigation regarding a residential burglary that occurred on the 500 block of Maple Ave back on January 20, 2021. This past week, Det. Doney charged a 28-year-old male by the name of Christopher Lassiter of Newark, NJ with burglary and theft and a 19-year-old female by the name of Taina Peppers of Newark, NJ with conspiracy to commit burglary for their alleged roles in the January 20th burglary. Both parties were issued complaint summonses and were assigned court dates for their first appearances.

Region Experiences Uptick in Residential Burglaries

Glen Rock NJ, according to Glen Rock Police last month Glen Rock experienced three residential burglaries. The burglaries occurred on Waldren Avenue, Maple Avenue   and Berry Place. This increase is in line with what other communities in our region have been experiencing . Glen Rock detectives are working with an investigative task force with other agencies in investigating theses crimes .
