SUV Smashes into Ridgefield Fire House

Ridgfield NJ, at approximately 6:10 PM on March 11th 2024, the Ridgefield Fire Department was requested at the intersection of Broad Avenue and Ray Avenue for a car into a building smoking. Units would arrive on scene to find a single car motor vehicle crash into 805 Broad Avenue (Ridgefield Fire Company 1) with significant building damage. The driver of the SUV refused medical attention and the vehicle was taken by city tow. The cause of the mva remains under investigation by the Ridgefield Police Department. Ridgefield NJ, at approximately 6:25 PM last evening the Ridgefield Fire Department was dispatched to 392 Shaler Boulevard for a report of fire coming out of the attic vents of a single family home.

Driver Unharmed in Tractor Trailer Fire at Vince Lombardi Service Area in Ridgefield

Ridgefield  NJ, NJSP Troop D Turnpike Patrol Division investigated a tractor trailer fire that took place on a ramp associated with the Vince Lombardi Service Area in Ridgefield on Friday afternoon, 01/05. The fire was extinguished by Ridgefield Fire Department personnel. The tractor’s driver escaped the fully engulfed rig unharmed. A heavy duty tow truck removed the charred remains from the roadway.
