Ridgewood NJ, NJ TRANSIT is launching a campaign entitled “Know Your ABCs,” which encourages customers to be familiar with their “alternates, backups and contingencies” should there be a disruption on their usual mode of travel. For example, if a customer normally takes the train from Penn Station New York to New Jersey, they are encouraged to also know which bus routes from the Port Authority Bus Terminal in New York could be an alternative to, or near, their home station.

Customers who prefer to use cash or don’t have a debit or credit card can now take advantage of all of the benefits of the NJ TRANSIT Mobile App with the new Cash in App feature. Customers can utilize more than 1,000 convenient participating network retailers in New Jersey like 7-Eleven, Walgreens, CVS, Family Dollar and more to convert cash directly to digital balances in the NJ TRANSIT Mobile App which can then be used to purchase electronic NJ TRANSIT tickets and passes.

Customers should use the printable schedule page at njtransit.com, check printed timetables, or use the “Station-to-Station Trip Planner” at njtransit.com and the mobile app for rail schedules – including trains in shaded columns, many of which operate this day.
