Ridgewood NJ, the RHS Marching Band 2020 Show will be revealed at a pizza party for current band members, as well as interested 8th graders and new members, on Thursday, March 12 from 6:00-7:00 pm in the RHS Band Room (150). Don’t miss it!

Ridgewood NJ, This past weekend the RHS Marching Band placed second out of 19 bands at the USBands National Championships Competition, held in Allentown, PA, with a score of 95.8375. The band was also awarded the “Cadets Award of Excellence” in recognition of the band’s creativity, performance, overall effect, and professionalism on and off the field.
Ridgewood NJ, Students from the RHS Bands will be selling fruit door-to-door for their annual Blitz Day, in which the goal is to reach every Ridgewood home. Through their purchases, buyers will receive luscious fruit and support the band program! Blitz Day is January 10, but orders can still be placed until January 29. Sellers offer orders for California navel oranges, red grapefruit, and a citrus sample (a combination of both). A mixed box of apples and pears is also offered. If residents are not at home on Blitz Day, they have the option to fill out order forms left at their door. Post-blitz orders go to Eileen Karanikolas (33 Lenox Ave. Ridgewood, NJ 07450). Choose the Fundraising option from the top menu and the Citrus sale option on the following page. You can download the Citrus Mail Order Form and mail it to the address. All fruit will be delivered on February 27.
The band program is made up of several bands, including Marching Band, Jazz Ensembles, small ensembles, and curricular bands. Thank you for your support.
