Government agencies, individuals, and businesses are prohibited from publishing the home address and/or telephone number of individuals who request protection under Daniel’s Law. Daniel’s Law was enacted in response to the tragic death of Daniel Anderl, the son of Judge Esther Salas and Mark Anderl.

The investigation, which has been shrouded in secrecy, centers on claims that patrolmen, sergeants, and lieutenants may have padded their overtime pay through no-show court appearances and falsified police reports, according to a source within NJ Transit Police Department.
