Ridgewood NJ, great weather and community spirit at the Ridgewood PBA’s Food Truck Festival supporting Pediatric Cancer research. RHS Project Interact organized volunteers who helped out during the Food Truck Festival. Police Chief Lyons, Fire Chief Judge, and Councilman Weitz have volunteered for the dunk tank at the Food Truck Festival. All proceeds will go directly towards pediatric cancer research.
Ridgewood NJ, the adult driver of a late model Chevrolet Trax was injured in an early Friday evening, 04/28 crash involving a tree in the 200 block of Lakeview Drive, Ridgewood. The victim was transported by ambulance to The Valley Hospital. A paramedic team from The Valley Hospital assisted Ridgewood EMTs. Ridgewood Police also responded to the incident. A tow truck removed the wrecked subcompact from the scene.
Ridgewood NJ , back in November the Ridgewood PBA announced that the Food Truck Festival raised $56,661 for pediatric cancer research.This money will be sent, via The Golden Lights Foundation, to Mosse/Marris Lab at The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia where it will be used to help start a new and promising clinical trial for pediatric cancer. In addition, the festival was able to register 50 people on the Bone Marrow Registry and bring awareness to other important charities.

Ridgewood NJ, the Ridgewood Police Department announces , “We got him again!” Some thieves never learn their lesson. Ridgewood PBA Local 20 members brought the grinch through town on Saturday, December 10th stopping at the following elementary schools :
Ridgewood NJ, October 9th – 11 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. – Veterans Field (corner of Linwood Avenue and North Maple Avenue) – Ridgewood PBA Food Truck Festival and Kids’ Zone – This will be a day of Fun, Food, and Awareness and funds will be raised for The Golden Lights Foundation (501c3). All proceeds will go directly towards pediatric cancer research at Memorial Sloan Kettering and Children’s Hospital Of Philadelphia. There will be bounce houses and games in a kids’ zone (wristband entry), live music, a beer garden and information booths. $5 entry; $25 for Kids” Zone; $25 for beer garden. Parking at Graydon Pool parking lot (corner of Northern Parkway and Linwood Avenue)
Ridgewood NJ, the Ridgewood Police congratulate Lucas Evers for being selected as one of the winners of our inaugural essay contest with the Bergen County Prosecutors office . The Ridgewood Police thank all of the students who participated in the contests. Your essays speaking of the important of the relationships between the Police and Community were inspiring to us all. Ridgewood NJ, today Ridgewood Firefighters took Santa for a ride on the fire truck! The Ridgewood Professional Firefighters partnered up with the Ridgewood Police and the Grinch making appearances all around the Village of Ridgewood .

Ridgewood NJ, the Ridgewood Police have caught the Grinch as you may be seen at Downtown for the Holidays. They decided to drive him around for some Christmas Cheer! Starting at Police Headquarters at Noon Saturday! We will then drive along the following route so meet us along the way!!!
The Grinch made the rounds from the Central Business District to ,Orchard, GW Middle School,Ridge,Willard,Travell,BF Middle School,Glen,Somerville,Hawes,RHS,Police Headquarters

Ridgewood NJ, Best. Day. Ever. Ridgewood PBA members helped out at the 6th annual Michael Feeney Best Day ever today. We had a lot of fun with all the families and loved raising money for such an awesome cause. We look forward to next year and having the best day ever! You can see we had almost as much fun as the kids did!

Ridgewood NJ, Phil Murphy’s attempt to disarm tax-paying NJ gun owners. It seems that in their ZEAL to make everyone “FEEL GOOD” about “doing something” about the great “firearms menace”, nobody in the in the Murphy Administration got the memo that NO EXEMPTION exists in the current statute for off duty Police Officers for ANY gun they carry! So how many Police Officers’s are technically in violation of the standard capacity Mag Ban simply because their department-issued equipment is in VIOLATION of the LAW put into place by the Chief Law Enforcement Officer in NJ (our Attorney General)?
Ridgewood NJ, according to the Ridgewood PBA Local 20 the Grinch has been CAPTURED We have caught the Grinch who has been known to try to steal Christmas cheer. He will be on display as part of his sentence at TONIGHTS Downtown for the Holidays Celebration right in Van Neste Square from 5pm – 9pm!! Come bring a (unwrapped) toy for our SRT (Santa Response Team) Toy drive and have some hot cider and receive some other goodies! Can’t wait to see you there!!
