Bergen County Funds Awarded for the Construction of a Senior Complex in Little Ferry

Little Ferry NJ,  The Bergen County Board of County Commissioners passed a resolution on Wednesday, February 2 which approved the disbursement of $750,000 in HOME Program funds. In addition to the Bergen County Division of Community Development, other funding sources for the project include the New Jersey Housing and Mortgage Finance Agency, the Federal Home Loan Bank of New York, and N.J. State tax credits that incentivize the development of needed senior low income housing. This development will be one of the largest senior housing complexes constructed in Bergen County in a decade. The complex will be contained in a single three story building with an attached parking lot, lobby, community room, an on-site superintendent, walkable paths, gardens, and outdoor seating areas.
