PARAMUS, NJ – A Friday the 13th commute turned into a chaotic scene on Route 17 southbound as a chain-reaction crash left a Paramus police officer and a local resident injured.
All three family members in the Infiniti were treated at the scene and transported by ambulance to The Valley Hospital

RIDGEWOOD, NJ — A serious early-morning collision at a busy Village intersection sent a family of three to the hospital on Friday, February 6, 2026.
The “T-bone” style accident occurred around 7:00 a.m. at the intersection of Linwood Avenue and Northern Parkway, a location frequently cited by local residents for heavy commuter traffic.

Ho-Ho-Kus Nj, late Wednesday afternoon on November 12, 2025, the southbound lanes of Route 17 in Ho-Ho-Kus, NJ, became the scene of a significant two-vehicle chain reaction crash. The accident, which occurred directly underneath the Hollywood Avenue overpass, severely impacted the evening rush hour commute.
The collision resulted in the injury of one individual and forced the closure of two crucial travel lanes (the left and center), causing southbound traffic to back up for miles across Bergen County.
