Ridgewood NJ, Ridgewood Walks is an initiative that encourages health and safety by promoting walking as a way to connect our residents, businesses and neighbors in Ridgewood NJ. Throughout the year, RW will host events, such as the first annual Walktoberfest this October, which will consist of a series of guided downtown tours to establish relationships with local business owners and community service leaders. By exploring various aspects and benefits of walking (from medical to commercial, from spiritual to environmental), the group will focus on Ridgewood’s past—and its future—as a walkable town.
