East Rutherford NJ, on Thursday afternoon members of the East Rutherford Fire Department responded to Route 17 near Union Avenue for a vehicle fire. The word is that alert motorist alerted the driver that the car was on fire and got her to get out of the car. no injuries reported .

Cresskill NJ, according to pedestrian safety activists Frank Geraghty the most dangerous crosswalk in Bergen County is located in Cresskill at Union avenue and Cresskill avenue.
