Cresskill NJ, on Thursday Cresskill Police reported a Bear sighting. Bear sightings in North Jersey have become more common in densely populated counties, while slightly less frequent in rural areas, according to recent official data.

Cresskill NJ, in a lawsuit filed in New Jersey Federal Court by Victor Rosasco, the husband of the late Divna Rosasco, alleges that the Cresskill Police Department, local public schools, and the borough failed to adequately investigate the man responsible for her murder. Divna Rosasco was tragically found stabbed 55 times and disposed of in Overpeck Creek in June 2020.

Cresskill Student Sues School For Harassment

Cresskill NJ, a Cresskill student has leveled accusations against a teacher’s aide, alleging harassment and the posing of sexually suggestive questions. The student’s parents have filed a lawsuit in state Superior Court against both the aide and the Cresskill Board of Education, citing incidents that occurred in November 2021.

(DOB: 4/25/1993; single; unemployed) of 151 Stonegate Trail, Cresskill, NJ, on charges of murder, possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose, hindering apprehension by suppression, hindering apprehension by providing false information, and unlawful possession of a weapon.  The arrest is the result of an investigation conducted by the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office under the direction of Chief Jason Love and the Cresskill Police Department under the direction of Chief James Domville.

Cresskill NJ, Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella announces the following information:

The Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office Major Crimes Unit and the Cresskill Police Department are investigating a homicide that occurred at 151 Stonegate Trail in Cresskill, NJ on Wednesday, August 16, 2023. At approximately 6:46 p.m., Cresskill police responded to a 911 call and found the victim deceased of apparent blunt force trauma. The victim Irma Daniels, 48. The police investigation found that John Daniels Jr. had hit his stepmother in the head with a baseball bat before fleeing.

Tree Service Truck Gets Tangled in Electric Wires in Cresskill

Cresskill NJ, on Sunday February 27th the Cresskill Fire Department and Cresskill Police Department  were dispatched to a tree crane that had gotten caught and entangled in electric overhead wires around 9:40 am in front of 78 Roosevelt Street. When firefighters arrived at the scene the crane had tipped back on its boom and the truck cab was approximately 25 feet off the ground in the air.

Cresskill NJ, Cresskill’s Middle School/ High School that was flooded by tropical storm Ida, will reopen and be ready for students to return on the first day of school on September 6. A ribbon-cutting will be held to welcome everyone back.. Cresskill students are finally going back to class inside their high school and middle school for the first time in over two years. The town approved a $21 million referendum for repairs after Tropical Storm Ida inundated the school with 3 feet of water leaving it unsafe.  Parents of the 1,000 students formed the group “Get Cresskill Kids Back to School” and took their fight to Trenton trying to get the governor’s office to speed up reparations in December.

County to Provide 9-1-1 Communications Services to the Borough of Cresskill

Cresskill NJ, at their March 16th public meeting, the Bergen County Board of Commissioners officially authorized a shared services contract with the Borough of Cresskill to provide the Borough with 9-1-1 communications services for a period of five (5) years. This agreement is part of Bergen County Executive James J. Tedesco and the Board of County Commissioners’ vision of offering County services to Bergen County’s 70 municipalities to increase efficiency and provide savings to taxpayers.
