Waldwick NJ, according to the Northwest Bergen Mutual Aid Association this morning at 6:15 am the Waldwick Fire Department was dispatched to a reported rollover on Route 17 southbound. Chief Mike Ferrara arrived to find a car on its side against the bridge that spans over Sheridan Avenue. There were many motorists that had stopped to assist and were holding up the car to prevent it from rolling back over. Chief Ferrara ordered the Rescue Jacks off Rescue 642 to be placed into service immediately to secure the vehicle. Meanwhile the crew from Squad 634 assisted in putting the Hurst tools into service to free the victim who was trapped in the vehicle. With multiple tools working the victim was freed from the car very quickly and was treated by an ALS & BLS unit from the Valley Hospital. An excellent job by all who responded.
Ho Ho Kus NJ, A Wednesday morning, 04/10, multi-vehicle chain reaction crash on Route 17 northbound at Hollywood Avenue, Ho-Ho-Kus resulted in one (1) personal injury that required ambulance transportation to The Valley Hospital. Two (2) travel lanes of the highway were closed while emergency crews and tow truck operators worked. Three (3) vehicles were removed from the scene by tow trucks. Police reported 6-7 vehicles were involved in the crash. Ho-Ho-Kus Police and Ho-Ho-Kus EMS responded to the incident.
Ridgewood NJ, the Ridgewood Police report that on March 19th patrol units were dispatched to a motor vehicle accident involving a pedestrian at the intersection of East Glen Avenue and North Maple Avenue. Upon arrival the pedestrian was treated for minor injuries and transported by ambulance to the Valley Hospital. The driver of the vehicle involved was issued a summons for failure to yield to a pedestrian in a crosswalk.
Ridgewood NJ, on Wednesday around 4pm a Medevac helicopter touched down at Veterans Field in Ridgewood , to deliver a patient from the Valley Hospital to Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia .
Ridgewood Police , Fire and Emergency Services were on the scene and the patient was delivered to the Medevac by a Valley Hospital Specialty Care Transport Unit .

Ridgewood NJ, On Saturday, John Capparelli a former Ridgewood priest was found fatally shot in his home in Nevada, and the authorities there said that his death was being investigated as a homicide.The former New Jersey priest was shot dead in his Nevada home just a month after his name appeared on a list of Garden State priests credibly accused of sexual abuse, authorities said. Allegations of sexual abuse trailed John Capparelli, a former priest, for decades, resurfacing in the years after the Archdiocese of Newark removed him from ministry.
Ridgewood NJ, Acting Bergen County Prosecutor Dennis Calo announced the arrest of TRAVIS WEBER (DOB: 02/10/1991; single; unemployed) of New Milford, New Jersey on charges of Aggravated Assault and Endangering the Welfare of a Child. The arrest is the result of an investigation conducted by the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office under the direction of Chief Robert Anzilotti and the New Milford Police Department under the direction of Officer-In-Charge Kevin Keine.
Twp of Washington NJ, The adult male driver of a Honda Pilot lost control of his vehicle and slammed head on into a tree in front of 100 Ridgewood Road, Washington Township on Saturday afternoon, 02/02. A Westwood EMS ambulance crew performed an on site patient evaluation, and then transported him to The Valley Hospital for treatment of non life threatening injuries. The wrecked SUV was removed from the scene by a flatbed tow truck. Washington Township Police handled the accident investigation. No other vehicles were involved in the crash and the victim was alone in his vehicle.
Fair Lawn NJ, Fair Lawn Police officers resuscitated the victim of a crash in which a passenger vehicle jumped a curb and hit the TD Bank branch located at 23-40 Maple Avenue, Fair Lawn on Thursday morning, 01/17. The victim was transported by ambulance to St. Joseph’s Regional Medical Center with the assistance of a paramedic team from St. Joe’s. A BLS ambulance from The Valley Hospital provided the transport. The passenger vehicle involved, a bright yellow SUV, was removed from the scene by a flatbed tow truck. Damage to the bank appeared to have been limited to accouterments outside of the main structure.

Longboat Key Fl, David F. Bolger, 86, of Longboat Key, Florida and Ridgewood, NJ passed away peacefully with his family by his side on December 29th, 2018. David was born on August 12, 1932 in Alliquippa, Pennsylvania to John Theodore & Coby Bunge Bolger. David was a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh and an Air Force Veteran and served as Chairman of Bolger and Company for forty one years. He is survived by his Loving Children Betsie (Jon) Bolger-Mott, John (Megan) Bolger, J.T. (Bevin) Bolger and six grandchildren. He is also survived by his twin sister Barbara (William) Collett, Sister Betty Fleming, and Brother Daniel (Linda) Bolger and many nieces and nephews. He was pre-deceased by his parents and his brother Bill. Donations to West Bergen Mental Health, Valley Hospital, or the Women’s Club of Ridgewood would be appreciated. Glen Rock NJ, Two (2) injuries were reported following a two (2) vehicle, Tuesday afternoon, 01/01, collision at the intersection of Rodney Street and South Maple Avenue, Glen Rock. Glen Rock Police, Glen Rock EMS, and a paramedic team from The Valley Hospital responded to aid the victims, both of whom were occupants of a 4-door sedan that slammed head on into a utility pole. One (1) vehicle was removed from the scene by a flatbed tow truck.
Ridgewood NJ, Valley Health System has selected an enterprise master patient index from NextGate to support automated medical record matching. With population health management supported with analytics becoming a top priority for many healthcare organizations, so is the need to collect data and clean it of duplicate information to better identify and manage patients across all settings of care.
That is the impetus for Valley Health System in Ridgewood, N.J., which has selected enterprise identification company NextGate as its vendor for records management, says Michael Burke, assistant vice president of information systems.
“Incomplete or inaccurate data in one’s health record can be detrimental to patient safety and a major barrier to providing highly-coordinated and individualized care,” he asserts. “Safe and effective care management hinges on the ability to view a holistic, real-time portrait of patients during every encounter. Valley , which serves 440,000 residents in northern New Jersey and southern New York using cleaner data to analyze and better understand the needs of patients with COPD, congestive heart failure and total joint replacement, and they’ll have the data to back up the level of quality given to patients and show it to insurers to get higher reimbursement.
Midland Park NJ, Two (2) victims of a Thursday afternoon, 12/20, two (2) vehicle collision at the intersection of Goffle Road and Lake Avenue in Midland Park were transported by ambulances to The Valley Hospital with non life threatening crash related injuries. Midland Park Police, Midland Park Fire Department, Midland Park EMS, Wyckoff Police, Wyckoff EMS, and Ridgewood Police units responded to the incident. A flatbed tow truck removed both wrecks from the scene. A railroad crossing signal belonging to the New York Susquehanna & Western Railway was obliterated in the crash.

If Valley Hospital decide to sell that property they can and no one can stop them up selling that land that they own all you people that’s stupid. Yes they are plans for the next few years is to run that has a few different medical items that’s in that article.
