Please. They should be on a timer. Why are we having so many different problems in town. What the hell is going on. It’s amazing. Everything from the lawn not getting cut in town. What is the problem. We can’t even get Porta John’s cleaned out on Maple field. Forget about the lighting. You can’t make this poop up. Well last year the Porta John was over flowing with a duty. Who the hell is in charge.

Ridgewood NJ, Ridgewood residents – there will be no sanitation or recycling collection today, Monday, February 18th. Village Offices will be closed in observance of President’s Day holidays. There will be no sanitation or recycling pickup on these days and the recycling center will be closed. This information is posted on the Village website and calendar. Please help keep Ridgewood clean and safe by sharing this information with neighbors who have placed curbside recycling/garbage.
“The root of the problem is the failure of our Village Council to distinguish between their Narrow interests and the underlying drivers of value for Village residents. Their self-interests are reflections of important aspects of Village business; but however important and useful for Village planning, they should not be used in a self-congratulatory list of “accomplishments” as surrogates for the underlying value of the Council’s work. Genuine value creation fur residents requires a Council culture that compels our Governing body to pursue projects that promise to improve life for all residents, whether it be property tax reduction or paving our third world roads – while not treating their own narrow self-interests (Schedler, Elks HQ, Hudson Garage) as ends in themselves.”
Ridgewood NJ, Tuesday, February 12th and Monday, February 18th Village Offices will be closed in observance of the Lincoln’s Birthday and President’s Day holidays.. There will be no sanitation or recycling pickup on these days and the recycling center will also be closed.
We have lots of intelligent residents who lead and operate successful businesses. The problem is, we have to wait for them to retire so they could take a volunteer or paid position with Ridgewood. In the meantime people who have no experience and no knowledge of anything rush to see their names and faces in print. Some, like Knudsen, have been unable to realize she is no longer Mayor and keeps sending out “important announcements” before our current Mayor. Maybe this is requested help, and then I apologize. But her notices always preceded his by only a few minutes.
“Self-serving people there for personal gain” defines our Councils of the past decade or more. Riche with his no bid telecoms contracts with the Village, the definition of conflict of interest. Whatever the hell Ahronson, Pooch and Gwen wanted, none of it seemingly any good for the rest of us. Knudsen getting her boys on the RPD and RFD with some nifty maneuvering around the hiring requirements, and protecting the dilapidated Schedler above all other interests because it’s across the street from her dad’s house… the list goes on and on.
Ridgewood NJ, All Village of Ridgewood offices will be closed Monday, January 21st in observance of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day. There will be no sanitation or recycling pickup. The Police Department will be open.
