Ridgewood NJ, according to Superintendent of Schools Dr. Thomas A. Gorman, Ed.D. the number of COVID cases in the district is very low, and the activity level for northern New Jersey is at the moderate level (Yellow).
Ridgewood NJ, according to Superintendent of Schools Dr. Gorman , at recent vaccine clinics offered by the Village of Ridgewood Health Department, over 600 people received the COVID-19 vaccine, including students of all ages. The Health Department will be offering additional vaccine clinics soon.
Ridgewood NJ, at Mondays Ridgewood Board of Education meeting Dr. Gorman thanked the Board for the tremendous opportunity to serve as Acting Superintendent and shared that he looks forward to working cooperatively on the district and Board of Education goals as we navigate through this unprecedented time. A chocolate brown Cocker Spaniel residing on South Irving Street received the Village’s first 2015 dog license, which was issued by a Village of Ridgewood Health Department employee shortly after 8:30 AM on Monday, May 5th.
Remember: A Late Fee of $20.00 per dog will be assessed for applications received after June 30th.
It is the dog owner’s responsibility to renew the dog license when it expires. It is also the dog owner’s responsibility to maintain their pet with a valid rabies vaccination. The health department sends out reminders as a courtesy and to inform residents of the free rabies clinic.
