Ridgewood NJ, “Not As Good as You Think: Why Middle-Class Parents in New Jersey Should Be Concerned About Their Local Public Schools,” a report produced by the Pacific Research Institute analyzing academic performance at 1,170 Garden State public schools, says plenty of middle class suburban kids aren’t college ready!

Ridgewood school district has been in decline for years despite the high taxes… and all the current crop of teachers seem to care about is cutting their health benefit contribution amount.
This has been a nationwide issue for some time now.As for the village schools in decline, not as much as t8:10 am suggest it is still a award winning system by most educational standards. Teachers whining about there health care to bad welcome to the real world.
Award winning system…lol..says who? New Jersey Monthly Magazine?????
It doesn’t matter how good the schools actually are… it only matters how good the parents think the reputation of the schools are… aka “tradition of Excellence”
