Ridgewood NJ, November 11th at 11:00 a.m. in Memorial Park at Van Neste Square , the American Legion Post 53 will be hosting a Veterans Day service. All are invited to attend, to honor those who have served in the Armed Services to protect our freedom.
November 11th, All Village departments and offices will be closed in observance of Veterans Day. There will be no garbage or recycling pickup on this day, and the Recycling Center will also be closed. Please check your Village calendars, as your garbage and recycling pickups may change, due to the holiday.
On November 9th ,also in observance and recognition of Veterans Day, Ridgewood High School hosted a Veterans Appreciation Breakfast for local veterans. Following the breakfast, an Assembly Program, “The Meaning of Service,” took place where a panel of veterans shared their experiences with the RHS students.
