Ridgewood NJ, a little background on the ridiculous smear campaign that Ms. Erin Taddei is conducting on Facebook’s Ridgewood Moms and Dads – which is a page that Siobhan Winograd manages and from which she blocks basically everyone that disagrees with her:
Ms. Taddei threatened Village Council candidate Melanie Hooban in 2017, yes 2017. This occurred outside the courtroom after Ms. Hooban had spoken about the parking problems on her street which created a hazardous situation for children walking to Travell School.
As the police report reads, Ms. Taddei threatened to “fucking kill” Ms Hooban (whose name at the time was Melanie McWilliams). She did so in front of many witnesses including police officers. She did so in front of Ms. Hooban’s young children. Read the police report – Ms. Taddei’s reported behavior is cringe-worthy.
It was TWO YEARS later when Ms. Taddei called the police because Ms. Hooban had temporarily parked in front of her house, facing the wrong direction on the street. Ms. Taddei called the police for this minor infraction that really had nothing whatsoever to do with Ms. Taddei. She did it to aggravate (BULLY) Ms. Hooban.
Ms. Hooban’s mother had died that day, so understandably she was in a state of devastating emotional distress. As a knee-jerk reaction to having the police called, Ms. Hooban posted a snarky remark on her PRIVATE Facebook page, calling Ms. Taddei a “colorful” name. Ms. Taddei was not a FB friend of Ms. Hooban, so she only saw this private remark because someone screen-shot it and sent it to her. Surely Ms. Hooban deserves some understanding for making such a remark on her private page, not intended for Ms. Taddei to see – surely when your mother has just died and someone who dislikes you calls the police on a minor parking violation. Seriously, Ms. Hooban’s private little comment is completely understandable.
Ms. Taddei has never let this go. She is turning this into an election issue, posting about it without any background information. She fails to mention that she had threatened to kill Ms. Hooban two years prior. Yes, she threatened to KILL Ms. Hooban. Again, read the report.
We at The Blog completely support Ms. Hooban and just want all who are blocked from Siobhan Winograd’s ridiculous Facebook Page to know that the Cyber Bully is NOT Ms. Hooban.
It’s more like Lyndhurst than Ridgewood it seems.
If you post something on Facebook, even on a “private” page, you should always assume it will be public. Any presumption of privacy is foolish. And posting it on a private page doesn’t suddenly make it ok.
Teddi who always wants to look like a teenager, should know it’s okay to grow older, and should lighten up a bit.

Please make sure to clarify a few points. This report was made by Ms. Hooban and filed with the police. I was never even contacted by the Ridgewood Police regarding this incident report.
Ms. Hooban’s mom sadly passed days after the Facebook post. In her own words she said the post was referring to was a result of her being told that I had taken photos of her car in an attempt to get her ticketed. I most certainly did not call the police that day ( a fact I’m sure you can verify). I am very sorry that she lost her mom which is why I didn’t follow up with any filings despite being threatened in print.
I will be contacting my attorney regarding this post.

Taddei truly is a monster of a person. A wolf in sheep’s clothing. Everyone who gets to know her knows this. Even her closest “friends” pretty much despise her.

Anyway, not worth the fuss or the distraction from the real issues. Vote for Hooban, unless you want the return to the corrupt sort of politics and back biting that characterized the old Airbag Aronson days. And, of course, if you want a downtown full of high-rises, garages, tattoo parlors and cheap restaurants, you don’t need to wait for Vagimous to bring those things to Ridgewood, you can move to a whole bunch of downtrodden towns throughout the State.
Ms Taddei, once you make a neighborhood dispute “political” – no attorney is going to help. It was your choice to make it political, not blogs.
You published an article in Vaginao’s campaign newspaper – the owner of Ridgewood Franchise is Paul’s campaign manager – if someone needs to be worried about an attorney – you should be.
Melanie was trying to make the street safer for kids. You are the one who had a problem with that.
Taddei is the person nobody wants to sit at their lunch table in high school.
Who has a job??? If I recall Erin Taddei was fired from a preschool for being cold and mean to children. Her JOB is holding on to this grudge for some silly reason while trying to prance around like a geriatric teenager. She need to get a life. THAT should be a full time job.
Its like receiving a huge campaign donation. Keep slinging the dirt…as more run to vote for Hooban!

All of you who are willing to vote for either candidate are utter fools. Both have clearly demonstrated that they are erratic, emotional and immature people. Hooban cant effectively direct a PRE-SCHOOL. The great exodus of ridgewood is coming….
For those considering voting for either candidate: please don’t. Both have exhibited behavior that can be seen in high school children. Have some respect for yourself. All I have seen from them is immature, aggressive and unstable behavior. I have nothing against these women, they could be upstanding people but the way they portray themselves on the political stage (if you want to call it that) is egregious.
