BREAKING : TOLL BROTHERS APPLE RIDGE SITE HAS REALEASED OVER 24 LBS OF ARSENIC DUST INTO LOCAL WATERWAYS https://theridgewoodblog.net/breaking-toll-brothers-site-has-realeased-over-24-lbs-of-arsenic-dust-into-loca-waterways/
Here is the response from Boswell Engineering representative who is overseeing this almost three-year long environmental quagmire: ……….[..] “Nothing’s being pumped into the Brook. Due to the impending storm coming sat/sun they are releasing water from the basins to make sure they can store water that may be turbid due to storm. They pre treated this water 2 days ago to let particles settle out.”
Top rated Bergen County corporate attorney Henry Matri who allowed me to publish his comment addressed to our local politicians and especially to Kevin Boswell posted on my FB page the following question: “Why did the town allow Toll bro’s to under engineer these retention ponds. No releases should be necessary if the facilities had adequate storage capacities from the get go.”

What are we going to do if something important happens….?
This has been a total failure for the past few years. I live on Pleasant brook and the color of the water continues to be brown after rain falls. Very concerned..
Someone has been looking the other way. I blame the mayor and the council ,the town engineer, And whoever signed off on this. They totally dropped the ball very embarrassing. Look at the problems that’s occurring right now. What’s going to happen when the whole development is completed.
This is what happens when politicians get in bed with real estate developers
Perhaps everyone should just calm down, a little bit of dirt in the form of sediment in the water for a year or two is not going to change much of anything. Perhaps overreacting is not the best course of action on this. When construction stops in 24 months, this is going to be over and the water will recover.
Paula I don’t know what you do for a living. But obviously you’re not in the construction business or an engineer. This is poorly planned and maintained sorry. I’ve seen other locations taking care of extremely more professional. You are totally wrong. Another 24 months this is been going on for 24 months already what’s wrong with you. Please head out of your ass.
Paula !
Really
Wow
😳
Hey Paula,
Why don’t you ask the family that can no longer drink their water which was caused by the runoff from Apple Ridge or the family that can’t afford to buy a expensive filter system. The damage has been done and the ramification from this environmental disaster will be with the residents for many years. Our Mayor, our council people and Boswell are co-conspirators with Toll Brothers in the!decisions that were made years ago when they cut down 1000 trees and stripped the golf course of all the grass all at once!!!
Honestly this is truly concerning – does that mean everyone who has a house by the brook is going to sell?
