Ridgewood NJ, Studies show that choral singing improves our mood, with a decrease in stress and anxiety, plus it is very fulfilling to experience the joy of making music together with a wonderful group of singers!  The Pro Arte Chorale invites you to our  “Open Rehearsal” when you can experience for yourself that special joy of singing with a choral group, meet our music director Bryan Zaros, and decide if you want to audition for Pro Arte Chorale.   All voice parts are welcome to join us at our Open Rehearsal on September 16 7:30pm at West Side Presbyterian Church, Ridgewood, NJ

If you are interested in auditioning, please email or call the office at 201-497-8400 to schedule your audition, as they are held by appointment only.  Pro Arte has an exciting season ahead!

The Chorale, with orchestra and guest soloists, celebrates the 250th Anniversary of Beethoven’s birth with a performance of his great Mass in C and the rousing Hallelujah from The Mount of Olives.

Founded in 1964, the Pro Arte Chorale is one of the Northeast’s most prominent choral organizations, and is committed to enriching the lives of its members, its audience and the broader community by exploring many musical traditions in a variety of venues, presenting performances of the highest artistic quality.  

Bryan Zaros returns for his second season as artistic director with Pro Arte Chorale.  In addition to his appointment with Pro Arte, Bryan is the Associate Choirmaster at the Cathedral of Saint John the Divine in New York City and is a current candidate for the Doctor of Musical Arts degree in Conducting at the Manhattan School of Music.  The acclaimed and highly talented, Ms. Janet Montgomery is Pro Arte’s accompanist and assistant conductor.
