Married Garfield Middle Teacher Charged in Relationship With Student

Garfield NJ, Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella announced the arrest of AMY DOVIDIO (DOB: 5/18/1977; married; teacher) of Pompton Plains, NJ, on charges of aggravated sexual assault, sexual assault, endangering the welfare of a child, aggravated criminal sexual contact and criminal sexual contact. The arrest is the result of an investigation conducted by the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office under the direction of Acting Chief Matthew Finck and the Garfield Police Department under the direction of Chief Richard Uram.

The iconic Warner Theater in Ridgewood  sadly closed its doors after nearly a century of being a cherished downtown landmark. On February 17th the Ridgewood Historical Society held the sale of theater seats and today dumpsters are already parked inform of the former theater.

Glen Rock NJ, at 8:05 AM Monday morning the manager of the Starbucks located at 224 Rock Road in Glen Rock’s Central Business District reported red paint was splashed over the sign at the corner of Rock Road and Glen Avenue. The responding officer also found stickers placed on the sign with messages related to the Middle East conflict. It is believed that the act occurred in the early morning hours prior to the opening of the store.
