Ridgewood NJ, The Queensboro Symphony Orchestra will perform works by Beethoven, Brahms and Elgar at West Side Presbyterian Church on Sunday, November 5 at 3 pm as part of the West Side Concert Series. Free admission, parking and childcare. A free-will offering will be received.
The performance, under the direction of Conductor Dong Hyun Kim, will include: Ludwig van Beethoven’s Triple Concerto in C Major, Op. 56; Johannes Brahms’ Symphony No. 1 in C Minor; and Edward Elgar’s Nimrod from Enigma Variations, which will be dedicated to Jina Choi, the Queensboro Symphony Orchestra’s concert mistress, who passed away in July.

Soloists: Jee Sun Lee, violin (pictured); SinHwa Lee, cello; and Sohyun Ahn, piano.
Founded in 2015 in Flushing by Maestro Kim, the Queensboro Symphony Orchestra is rapidly emerging as one of the most exciting ensembles in New York’s classical music scene.
