Glen Rock NJ, early on Sunday morning, November 3, a fire broke out on the second floor of a single-family home on Andover Terrace in Glen Rock, originating in a clothes dryer. Fortunately, the blaze was contained quickly, limiting damage to the dryer itself and the immediate surrounding area.
All residents, including both adults and children, evacuated safely as firefighters arrived. The Glen Rock Fire Department led the response, with additional support from firefighters from Hawthorne, Fair Lawn, Midland Park, Paramus, and Ridgewood. Their rapid action prevented the fire from spreading further, and structural damage appears minimal.
Glen Rock Police Department and Glen Rock EMS were also on-site, ensuring the safety and coordination of the response efforts. This incident highlights the effectiveness of local emergency services in protecting both lives and property in the community.
