Current Road asphalt conditions are horrendous. The VC ignoring this fact for years while the PSEG  TUNNEL diggers are tearing up the main roads.

For Pipe and Utility upgrades .will get much worse folks.Cars tires suspensions will continue to take a beating .its not like we can take an alternate route to and from town.Means lost business store owners .

Tire car repair alignment shops will continue to rake it in.Visitors know the Town is in downslide,Parking violations officers just hammer the visitors anyway to ensure they know better than to come again next week to shop or dine.is ass backwards to think visitors are fools.Glen Rock and the malls have 3 hours free honor based parking .I get haircuts there every month and I am sure to visit other stores like drugstores there when free parked.

  1. The police love public service jobs more and more overtime baby nice, hey good for them

  2. From my experience being in the engineering field PSE and G have done so much damage to the surrounding roads in our area . Not to mention they are loosening up manholes Road rain reservoirs drainage pipes ,and all the utilities that so many of us don’t see.and some of us don’t even have the understanding regarding what they’re doing they may improve one utility and Hurt others. People you don’t have to believe me just look at W. Glen Ave. from Maple to Monroe the road is sinking already and they started to do a few patches . let’s see how the Bergen County Road department will handle this because it is a county road

  3. N Pleasant is a disaster. And it is because if the massive construction on the formerly beautiful homes. Now Neuveau Riche looking disasters. The years of it, massive size of projects, constant on some homes, has destroyed certain areas of that particular street and the homeowners and builders should have to fix them.

  4. that is so true 3,20

  5. Bwahahahaha anyone remembering the campaign that you all hate – the one where a certain sitting mayor was beaten by a political neophyte – will remember this being that sitting mayor’s signature issue. “Potholes snd sidewalks” he said. How’d that work out?

    1. when was that the mayors signature issue ?????????????

  6. I did a double take today (Sunday) driving past a vacant lot where a beautiful old house used to be on the north side of W. Ridgewood Ave. between the train and Monroe. I suppose we can anticipate yet another aesthetic-free McMonstrosity taking the place of one of the village’s lovely historic homes and occupying far more of the lot than the previous one did (probably for 100 years).
