At the time, we were told that (a wondrous) grant would pay for (most?) of the fabulous Bike Lane and it would be a win for everyone and that the grant money must be used for this purpose (traffic easing – aka stealth population control to force a socialist agenda driven by the master plan known as “Agenda 21” – look it up). It’s a big F U sugar coated in feel good language and yes, we are stuck with it.

I think that ANY Garagzilla project needs to INCLUDE FUNDING to rip out the idiotic Bike Lane to nowhere AND INCLUDE FUNDS TO PAY BACK THE GRANT – otherwise no garage gets built.

So true it can be removed. but they would have to admit guilt , And for most top managers they don’t know how. because they are told to tell a story or two. What a waste of money this town spend’s on junk we do not need. How about repaving some of the parking lot’s in the c b d. some of them had not been redone in 20 plus years. it’s time. I park in the lot’s every day , most are shot. yes they fill in potholes and clean them. but they need to be rebuilt.

Potholes are deviish creatures at first anoying they quickly become very dangerous and costly. I just payed 600 dollars and got off light as rires held but rims collapsed suspension greatly damaged.A town that cannot maintain its basic road asphalt condition on main roads and surface lots is a mismanaged and Brolen Town.Ridgewood roads have been crap for 10 years. No weathet excuses please for a decade of poorly serviced basic taxpayer rights.Pedestrian Runnerd and biker hazard too with bodily injury the higher risk.i dont expect any improovement just Lame BS EXCUSES
so true. the town has not been replacing workers. all village departments are low in staffing. the village has only been replacing workers in fire and police and in upper managers in village hall.they can only do the bare minimal in service. the mayor and council know this for years. they don’t care. they hire part time workers . And we all know what u get with part time help, right.

Pesmith, do you get out at all? This town is most definitely not uber white, nor do I think anyone here is suggesting it should be. Bike lanes and traffic calming might be a worthy goal, perhaps Lincoln avenue or glen would benefit. No traffic expert would ever suggest such a bottleneck in a major artery as a good thing, in fact the Village;s traffic expert said they should be removed at a recent planning board meeting. The fact that we were all lied to (yet again) by the old Village Manager and current engineer is not ok.
