“Don’t get me started on them. Aronsohn did so many questionable unethical things. Like trying to derail Mike Sedon’s original run for office by contacting his employer in Staten Island on a fake conflict-of-interest concern. He actually got the Ridgewood News to pull a letter to the editor that a citizen had written because he did not like the letter (yes, he was in the newspaper office constantly monitoring their articles and incoming letters). He tried to get an employer to fire a local citizen who had crossed paths with Aronsohn. He publicly went after Bernie Walsh (along with Gwenn and Albert) attacking her for ‘fixing” a parking ticket which she absolutely did not do. The three of them, led by Aronsohn of course, went after Tom Richie for a conflict with his company doing work for the Village, which was not a secret, nothing under the table, although they tried to imply that it was. They all went after Susan Knudsen for questioning residency requirements for civilian jobs, by bringing a labor attorney to the council meeting to attack her (this was met with a huge groundswell of anger against the three of them). Then of course you had Aronsohn and Hauck, who were both married, having a love affair while they were serving together. And Aronsohn tried to get the civil service list changed so that Keith Killion’s son would be bounced off. The list goes on and on. He is despicable by any standards. And Roberta? Oh my word. Remember when she wrote a letter to the paper attacking a citizen who had spoken up about Schedler??? What the hell kind of rogue Village Manager starts publicly attacking citizens? And she used to interrupt council deliberations incessantly with her opinions, clearly forgetting that she was not an elected official. Every time there was any kind of swearing-in or proclamation, she would come down from the dais with the elected officials and stand there for her photo ops. And no one can forget how she tried to physically block a citizen from getting signatures in Van Neste, the signatures were for the referendum to stop the garage – yes, there are photos of that incident, where she stepped in claiming she was trying to present the facts. When a citizen was assaulted during a council meeting they carried on like nothing had happened and refused to admonish the person who hit the other person. What a crew they were. Just horrible.”

  1. 7 votes …we can’t ever be complacent again…

  2. From scumbag (Aronsohn) to douchebag (Voigt). What did we do to deserve them both?

  3. What is Gwenn looking at?

  4. And all three of them with Roberta at the wheel forced healthbarn a private business owned by a New Yorker into a public park because she was besties with Roberta.

They changed rules for this business and lied that it was a partnership with the town which it is not nor is it a NON profit. Ridgewood reels NO benefits from this business. Once in a blue moon there is a class that is offered there thru the parks and rec but the business gets 60 percent. Otherwise anything else that hoes on there is 100 percent profit for the owner.

They pulled the wool over all the tax payers eyes and still are.

Wake up people your taxes are paying for a Private business to succeed

  5. A love note from Paul.

  6. Remember when Roberta created a full-time position with benefits without getting approval from the council? She hired a friend of hers to fill the position. The best was that this position was to manage human resources which was part of Roberta’s on job description. So she was hiring somebody at a large salary to do part of her job! When Mike Sedon asked her if her salary was going to be reduced accordingly people in the courtroom almost lost it, it was hilarious. And the ethics violations just keep on coming.

  7. The truly hysterical thing is, all you “readers” are Trumpanzees and the liar-in-chief is a thousand times worse than Paulie. Get out of your echo chambers. As General Kelly accurately pointed out, Fox News viewers are not informed citizens.

    1. geez TDS bigot much? time to man up and accept the fact you voted for a mayor who attempted to destroy the Village nothing to do with Trump you only have yourselves to blame

  8. And there are so many ridgewood moms trying to get started in business and to have a place to have meetings or do shows would be great. And a great support of the tax payers. But instead a large enterprise is there not having any affiliation with the town

    Let’s support our tax payers!!!

  9. It is very important to know which candidates he and his crew are backing and to vote for other people. Aronsohn has never stopped trying to get one of his acolytes on the council. This time it will be Pam Perron and Mahmoud Hamza. Remember those names and vote for someone else even if you aren’t crazy about them.

  10. Roger Reed typical leftist hypocrite. Prob a brainwashed CNN clown defending a typical corrupt democrat while lamely bringing up the great pres of the US Trump. Another tds lib snowflake mr Reed.

  11. Still can’t get over the fact that you voted in everyone of these assholes and the best you can do is pull a Trump card? Really?
    How utterly pathetic….

  12. None of this has to do with Trump

  13. who are the good people running this year? Will stay away from the Airbag lackeys.

  14. I don’t know who’s running this town the mayor council ! All I can say is what a joke.

  15. If you vote for either M. H. Hamza, Pam Perron, and/or Ian Linker in the May 2020 Village Council election, you will in effect be casting a vote/votes for Paul Aronsohn’s political doctrine.

  16. Another despicable move made by Paul, Gwenn, and Albert was the firing of Ken Gabbert. Although Dr. Gabbert wasn’t too well liked by many Village employees, he got the job done, and did it well. He was fired strictly because he was elected as Republican for municipal office in another municipality. Aronsohn could not stand him just for that fact. So they fired Gabbert and replaced him with Sonenfeld. What a joke.

  17. Ridgewood, a village in turmoil.

  18. these comments conflict. Ian Linker was a Republican Senate candidate. Can’t both be true that Paul supports him but fired Gabbert for being a Republican.

    1. Paul supported Linker????????

  19. Won’t vote for Hamza or Perron but the alternatives of Hache, Walsh etc. are just weak. It is sad that we have to vote for the lesser evil.

  20. Firing Gabbert was the only good thing that council did. Gabbert was a disaster and cost the town $$$$$$ with his lack of knowledge of Civil Service rules and regulations.

  21. Why would anyone run for the Village Council or Board of Ed? The brutal opinion based attacks on this blog are not worth it. All the candidates think that they can do a good job and make a positive difference.

We can disagree without being disagreeable. Let’s post as if our real names were attached.

    1. people post anonymously because in the past the BOE has gone after their kids if you dared challenge them on any issue

  22. Why do you believe Pam Perron is a Paulie supporter?

    1. she pals around with wingrad

  23. Remember when Aronsohn was using photos on his Paul Aronsohn Mayor web page that were owned by North Jersey dot com? The Record instructed him to take them down, that he had no right to use those photos for his own self promotion. Mr. Arrogance refused. Haha, the Record then said they would sue his ass, and guess what, Mr. Arrogance took them down. He knew no limits when it came to breaking rules. He continues to do so today.

  24. Pam Perron and Mahnoud Hamza are backed a thousand percent by Halaby-Winograd-Aronsohn-etc. You can take that to the bank

  25. This whole crew was so full of shit it’s amazing.
And it’s amazing how many upper management individuals have to listen to these shitheads. That’s why the management need to run the town not the mayor and council. When people are appointed it just doesn’t work at times.
Now they hire puppets. So they can control them. They don’t like people thinking for themselves. That’s because they can’t control them.

  26. So is anyone not affilliated with Paulie running in this election?
Has he made his come back?

  27. Hi James – this comment may need it’s own new post.

We have heard rumors that a candidate for election who lives in Travel area was spotted at the Dad’s night orientation. Dad’s night is usually for Hawes and Somerville parents and historically they have stayed away from politics.
Why then this year they are entertaining an election candidate who is not even from Hawes or Somerville?

  28. Guess what people they knew what they were going to do. Do you want to for nice thick envelope. Welcome to the real world. If you think it still doesn’t go on do you have your head up your ass
