Bottom line is if this business was placed in a green acres park by past council and VM without following the proper procedures it is time for present council and VM to make the proper adjustments to the lease
If the lease was written in favor of the business without the tax payers rights being considered it is time for VM to make the proper adjustments
The fact that a business was placed in a residental neighborhood WITHOUT a trial period is absurd!! And the fact that it has been there for 21/2 years and the council and VM get endless complaints about the neighbors quality of life AND these have been ignored needs to be looked into too!
Makes sense why haven’t they?
Why was this done in the first place?
Were the neighbors ever consider? Did last council and Roberta disregard their concerns?
I drove past there the other night. That parking lot now makes Willard school look like it’s lights are dim
Those poor families on Andover terrace, I don’t know how they put their kids to bed while the lights are on. And why were they on at 9:45 doesn’t all parks in Ridgewood close at dusk?
Why so much confusion and backlash. If a business in a neighborhood causes anyone discomfort or rips their quality of life away why can’t that be understood by all especially a council person. Put your self in their shoes. Would you want extreme parking lights on everyday until 10 pm coming into your windows? The neighborhood on hillcrest has been changed drastically in the last 7 or 8 years. It happens they adapted. Now a business. How would that go over if it happened on bedford rd, Phelps rd, south Irving, hopper ave? Seriously support what you want but don’t bash others for trying to help themselves and regain their quality of life. So sad Ridgewood. Stop being so selfish.
Plus the added lights, double yellow line the length of upper hillcrest rd ,an enormous amount of added signage and ticking marks all added by the town for this business. Changed the whole look of this area

I know The x manager knows who may be the new maybe aka Consultant or project manager just maybe.
