If you went to the council meetings, you could see Arohnson and Pucc always had chips on their shoulders about any one and everyone who were not like them or who didn’t kiss their butts. They presented themselves as a pair of self-loathing buffons who perpetually expressed the view that they were better than everyone else, even when you could see they are not comfortable in their own skins. That can be the worst combination in human nature.

  1. Don’t you love this bullshit Anne Pucciarelli posting about how Ridgewood needs fresh faces on the council? Oh. My. God. Who the hell is SHE to tell us what Ridgewood needs???? She blows into town, marries Pucciarelli, and now is an expert on what Ridgewood needs. Righto Annie. Your opinion is meaningless, lower than dirt. You chose to marry the rug, now we see that you have zero judgement.

    1. but she is married to the “only person in town with a full time job”

  2. Fellow Citizens: time is running out. Please state something positive about the candidate or candidates you support. If all new residents (and we have plenty of them since the last 2 elections) hear is derogatory remarks about the candidates, why should they bother to vote? This is going to be a tight election. You all know how persuasive Aronson can be if you aren’t watching for the wolf hiding behind the sheep. He can easily appeal to the new Villagers to vote his way. And Harwin’s cheerful face and energy can easily impress people. (As long as she has Paul sitting beside her to answer the questions.) We have to show things our candidates have done, not just hint that they have done good things. Not everyone goes to the coffees of the candidates for whom they don’t plan on voting. I understand Susan and Michael have talked about important things at their coffees. Their supporters have to get it on the Patch, the Blog and all the local newspapers. i realize this is difficult as the papers are both terribly biased, but it has to be done. Just swearing that our candidates are “nice guys” without showing some of the reasons is a sure way to loose. People who don’t know them, or the other slate, will have no history to determine who the liars are. And opposing name calling doesn’t help if you’re not someone who has lived here and kept up with politics. We all know we are inviting total disaster if Paul’s slate gets in. We have to be POSITIVE, showing positive things if we are going to have any chance of winning!
