Noise, busses and lights!
Life is messy. These people are not having parades up and down the street. Busses ho down that street, people make noise. The neighbors are grumpy. HealthBarn is a good organization. They are not dumping toxic waste in the brook.
We need to focus on important issues. Fighting a contract because the neighbors are sad is a waste of time
What we are actually fighting is not a contract, but a misuse and unlawful use of public property.
Stacey Antine, another friend of Roberta’s that got special favors. And now she is going to sue Ridgewood residents. Oh wow, she is a wonderful friend to our village.

Supporter of Health Barn did not clearly identify herself as its attorney. That was bad form from the first second of her comments. So much for peaceful symbiosis. 9:21, people do not pay these taxes (or move so far from downtown) to deal with all of that. Dismissing their concerns is wrong. I feel sick about it and I live very far from there. Health Barn must go. We can rent that house to a family.
Health barn needs to go. Abmas got rid of her and now we should too. The disputes at Abmas with Antine were swept under the rug by Robetta and Paul. Now she needs to be swept out the door.

When the building became available someone would have rented it. Would the neighbors have preferred a psych office?
Many of the hone surrounding habernickel have owners that have been there for many many years. They raised their children there and chose to stay despite Ridgewood taxes. These same home owners went from living by an 11 acre estate with horses unlije anything in town to a life style change once 2 very active fields were put there. Fields that are used daily Spring, summer evening, and Fall this change happened 6 years ago. Now the same people are dealing with a business that is open 7 days a week open until 9 at night at times and all day through out the summer hosting up to 95 clients at one time. a business that uses buses as a big part of their transportation and uses the fields freely. This is just not fair to anyone. if you moved accross from a hospital, school or field that is your choice. To live somewhere and have all these changes thrown in your face is another. Have some compassion and imagine if it was you!
@2:00. Yes the neighbors would have preferred anything but healthbarn. I am sure you mean a psychiatrist office. No one says psych ward any more. That being said, something like that would not bring in 95 people since the house under the fire code can only hold 49!!
I live nowhere near there but I think the neighbors got a shoddy (and possibly an illegal) deal when a business of any kind was allowed to locate in a purely residential neighborhood. They were given no time to protest or check the legality of a business being on lands purchased with Green Acres funds. Assuming the use of the property is not a legal use, there is nothing legal about the contract or lease either. It’s time for you to look into your actual rights, and if this is something improperly done by Roberta to aide a friend, it should be cancelled. And who was given time to investigate Abma’s experience with them? Wouldn’t that be the same as checking references for a job? This whole deal stinks a lot more than that horse manure ever did!
