Report: Booker collected annual payouts from former law firm while in office
Newark Mayor Cory Booker reportedly pocketed an unknown amount of annual payments from his former law practice while the firm collected millions of dollars from independent authorities located within Brick City, according to published reports.
The NY Post reported over the weekend that the front-runner in New Jersey’s U.S. Senate election received an undisclosed amount of money from the Trenk DiPasquale law firm from 2007 to 2011. During that time, the firm collected more than $2 million in fees from independent authorities located within Newark, according to the report.
