Senate candidates make last-minute pitches in N.J.

The six candidates for U.S. Senate in New Jersey spent the last few days crisscrossing the state pleading for voters to head to the polls Tuesday in what is expected to be a low-turnout special primary election.

Polls show that two candidates are overwhelming favorites in their respective parties: Democratic Newark Mayor Cory Booker and Republican Steve Lonegan, a former mayor of Bogota. (Seidman/Inquirer)
