  2. Waste of police resources on a weed bust. It will be legalized by the end of the year. This is not protecting us, only a waste of police & court resources. Alcohol is much more dangerous than marijuana!

  8. What they were really busted for was being “too close” to one another, in violation of the governor’s ban on the birds and the bees!

  12. This week, members of the New Jersey state Assembly approved a substitute version of A1897 by a 63-10 vote. As currently written, the measure decriminalizes the possession and distribution of up to two ounces of marijuana by adults — making these activities punishable by a $50 fine. Those found to be in violation of the law will no longer be arrested or saddled with a criminal record.

This is a blatant waste of police resources and to call it a “drug bust” is not only a fallacy, it is illogical.

  14. Good Bust.
Quality of life arrests are important to improve the neighborhood. If you let the small things slide it increases the occurances of the bigger things.

  18. @tracy R…. your comment about ”that town”. That would indicate you’re not a resident. Do you come here to bitch about Ridgewood? Try sticking to ”your town” blog. Is it the Paterson blog?
