Ridgewood NJ, Ridgewood Emergency Services took possession of a new rescue truck this week! The chassis is a 2017 Ford F550, with an 11 foot rescue body with lots of storage space for just about every tool they can put in there. It has 4 telescoping LED flood lights to illuminate their emergency scenes at night. It also has a large Wanco LED message board to help direct traffic. The custom truck was built by Unruh Fire of Sedgwick, Kansas .
Doesn’t the fire department have a rescue truck? Why the need for duplicate services.
Because this is Ridgewood and its all about pissing cash down rat holes for useless equipment duplicated 5 times over in the surrounding 5 towns. ENOUGH!
I’m sure a little financial analysis would reveal a little action was had by someone.
You posters don’t have a problem with the Council buying the Elks Club or the Town Garage foe millions but another truck is over the line.
If you want to know how much duplicate equipment had been bought in Bergen County, just look at at the 4th of July parade. Millions of dollars worth
Nice vehicle how much is that.
Yeah meanwhile half of the garbage trucks all breaking down.
And more than half the roads in town are horrible
