Ridgewood NJ, the RHS DECA club was one of 461 school-based enterprises achieving Gold Level recertification for the 2022-2023 school year. The enterprise, which has operated for more than 25 years!, will be recognized during DECA’s International Career Development Conference in Orlando, FL, April 21-26, 2023.
DECA is an international organization that prepares emerging leaders and entrepreneurs in marketing, finance, hospitality, and management in high schools and colleges around the world. DECA’s programs and activities develop leadership skills, promote competition, and provide opportunities for students to network with professionals in the business industry. The organization also offers conferences, competitions, and educational resources to help members become successful in their future careers. DECA stands for “Distributive Education Clubs of America,” but the name has since been changed to simply “DECA Inc.” to reflect its global presence and diverse membership.
