Ridgewood NJ, The Ridgewood DECA 5K Dash was a running success! DECA Members were joined by the community on Saturday, November 4th at 9AM for a run around the Ridgewood Wild Duck Pond and beyond. Funds raised from the run are used to finance the chapter’s competitions, making it more affordable to allow all students to participate. 10% of the funds raised go toward charities that increase access to education.

Ridgewood NJ, the RHS DECA club was one of 461 school-based enterprises achieving Gold Level recertification for the 2022-2023 school year. The enterprise, which has operated for more than 25 years!, will be recognized during DECA’s International Career Development Conference in Orlando, FL, April 21-26, 2023.

Ridgewood NJ, in December, 180 RHS DECA members participated in the district competition, and 62 students qualified for the state competition in February.
Autism is a developmental disorder that has been highly publicized in the press recently, owing to the emergence of a subculture who attributes the disorder to having been caused by vaccinations in childhood. We will, likely, never know whether or not vaccinations do cause autism. The term ‘autism’ was first coined around the year nineteen-eleven, and until recently, very little was known about it. It was only toward the late 20th century that discoveries and developments were made into the disorder. Advancements are being regularly made in the field of autism research to help those suffering from the condition to live healthy and regular lives. Many people who suffer from autism can go on to live very healthy and productive lives, with many starting families and settling down.
