RIDGEWOOD — An investigation has been opened into the illegal dumping of two truckloads of construction debris behind the village’s composting site along Lakeview Drive.
Village Manager Roberta Sonenfeld said this week that Ridgewood police are attempting to track down the source of the unlawfully discarded asphalt and concrete.
Assorted construction materials were also deposited behind the village’s composting facility, Sonenfeld said.
An inside job….
Put a camera at the entrance. Problem solved.
No criminal charge whomever is responsible and then put the camera up.
They should also have cameras at Graydon. Next time someone drowns, we can check to see if it was the guards’ fault as was said last time.
In the private sector, management would have said by now that an employee screwed up and we fired the person. Here, Roberta is just trying to cover the whole thing up.
How hard can this investigation be. The gate is locked during none operating hour. There is no way for large trucks to get in because of the berms and trees. Here is a start.
1 Inspect the concrete for any indication of where it came from such cut off street sign post, concrete stamps, paint
2 Interview all people that have the keys to the gate
3 interview all contractors doing concrete work in the Village
4 interview resident on Lakeview Drive to see if they saw anything ( name on trucks)
5 Apply Definition of OCCAM’S RAZOR
: a scientific and philosophic rule that entities should not be multiplied unnecessarily which is interpreted as requiring that the simplest of competing theories be preferred to the more complex or that explanations of unknown phenomena be sought first in terms of known quantities

Im sure the Ridgewood Police have done or are in the process of doing that 9:48. Im just not sure that The village Manager will like the results of their investigation.
This isn’t going to go away Roberta. Just deal with it.
The Village Manager is having a crappy run as Manager. She is not managing at all. Time for her to go. GO GO. Please.
1:45, she’s miles better than her two most recent predecessors! You must be one of those jilted former Village employees who didn’t get the job, annoyed that she would;d take less money and do a better job than you?
And you, 2:06 PM, must be one of the three idiots that voted to hire her.
2:06 – My money is that your initials are SM and that your job is in HR. Of course you are going to defend our little Napoleon Roberta. You HAVE TO defend her. After all, your illegal hiring was all due to your friendship with her.
