Ridgewood NJ, the Ridgewood Police Department is celebrating two exciting milestones: the promotion of Douglas Busche to Sergeant and the recruitment of Edward Moodie as the department’s newest police officer.
Meet Sergeant Douglas Busche
Sgt. Busche, a dedicated member of the Ridgewood Police Department since 2016, has proven his commitment to excellence in law enforcement. With a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice from Sacred Heart University, Sgt. Busche has served as a Field Training Officer and Assistant TAC Officer, playing a key role in shaping the next generation of officers.
Welcome Officer Edward Moodie
Officer Moodie brings a wealth of experience and dedication to his new role. A United States Army veteran, he holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminology from William Paterson University and previously served the Village in the Streets Division. Officer Moodie begins his training this Friday at the Bergen County Police Academy.
