Dear Ridgewood Public Schools Community,
Recently, teenagers from many surrounding towns have been gathering in Ridgewood and on Ridgewood Public Schools property. Unfortunately, these large gatherings have resulted in minor confrontations and vandalism. Therefore, for the safety of the community and school property, we have devised a plan in conjunction with the Ridgewood Police Department.
Effective May 7, 2021, all RPS property will be closed on Fridays and Saturdays from 6:00 p.m. until 7:30 a.m. through June 26. A security company has also been hired to patrol RPS grounds on Friday and Saturday evenings and will notify the police should there be large gatherings of people.
We believe these measures will help control the situation. We will be closely monitoring this issue with the police and will make adjustments to the plan as necessary. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in this matter.

If we wanted to figure this out we might take a strategic approach
Who are the actors teens and adults etc
What is being damaged costs recovery
And prevention ( garage roof activities
How many exits are there.
Police can survey the damages risks
And take steps to patrol structures in a comprehensive way
Cameras etc
Risk assessment
How much are the mall cops going to cost taxpayers?
Our own shit doesn’t smell. The stench always seems to come in from neighboring towns.

The bikers come from south of Route 4. They enter the County Park in Lodi and ride up to the Duck Pond. I’ve experienced the mob firsthand.
I’ve also seen a very large group of them ride right down the middle of Ridgewood Ave and turn right on Paramus Rd – also riding right down the middle of the road thereby preventing cars from passing. But yeah, the letter is BS and it’s all Ridgewood kids – lol.
What was damaged? What type of activities? Why can’t our police handle this or have our police monitor the new security person?
Out the traffic cop there who double parked by santonis to write a ticket and I could not get around but go over to the opposite lane into oncoming traffic.
Liberals escalating how fast they turn ridgewood to shit. First no pickle ball now can’t even go with your kids to play sports after six when it gets dark at 8 PM. BULLSHIT.
Who’s “friend” from the BOE owns the security company?

It’s time to get out the dogs who are trained only to bite non-Ridgewood kids on bikes.
That, and set up nets in the County Park to trap these little monsters and bring them back over the border.
Seriously, this bike crap has been going on far too long in the Village and when our PD tries to stop it the cameras come out and belly boy and his flock of sheep come to the rescue. Take our Village back!
One more activity that we can take away from our kids. They can’t gather indoors because of Covid and now they cannot play sports on the school yard. Let’s add some additional depression to our already frustrated kids. That makes sense.
Out of town kids??? I was in the middle of Ridgewood Saturday night with my granddaughter and yes there were tons of kids around RHS as well as on E Ridgewood Ave near the movie theater and the park. She is a middle school student and told me most of the kids near the school were maskless Ridgewood kids. Personally I saw two “out of town” minority types sitting in front of the Bow Tie laughing with 4 lilly white girls. Shame on Gorman, we thought he was going to be different than Fishman, you know the one who praised the “Ridgewood kids” as great during his tenure which was highlighted by bullying and sexting that he sought to sweep under the rug.
