Ridgewood Turf Trauma : Nor’easter On the Way

Hackensack NJ, Hackensack Bergen County Executive Jim Tedesco gave a weather update in a Facebook say rain and gusty winds are expected this evening into Tuesday morning: 

The current weather forecast indicates a Nor’easter approaching Bergen County from the south beginning this evening continuing into early Tuesday morning. NWS predicts a steady rain over a 12-14 hour period, heavy at times, with some periods of gusty winds to 38mph.
Updated rainfall totals are expected to be 1-2 inches. NWS indicates there is potential of minor flooding in poor drainage areas, ponding on some roadways and concerned with coastal flooding. Be sure to monitor local weather conditions, local streams and flood prone areas.
Be alert for changes to this forecast as these systems develop and approach the area. Please be sure to take appropriate action locally to protect lives and property.

HACKENSACK RIVER WATERSHED AREA: Bergen County officials have been in contact with Veolia/ Suez Water company; The Oradell reservoir may begin spilling again and downstream communities should take necessary precautions.

    I cleaned up the crap covering the sewer grate in front of my house.

  4. Vets and the parking lot will be completely dry tomorrow. It’s a miracle.

  5. Can an indoor stadium be built so this doesn’t continue happening? Property taxes would probably cover something like that.
