Ridgewood NJ, Franklin Avenue will be closed between N.Maple Avenue and N.Broad Street on Friday 11/18/22 for Milling and Monday 11/21/22 for paving beginning at 7AM. During that time traffic under the railroad underpass will be detoured to Ackerman Ave and E.Glen Avenue . Expect delays in the area and plan an alternate route.

About time.
Why do they have to close the streets for this. It is really inconvenient.
Couldn’t it wait until the weather was really bad?
what do you suggest a snow day?
How about august when no one is around and the leaves are on the trees!
Hope they repave Ackerman. Avenue, please.
Good grief, What a traffic mess, a bottle neck in and around town, outer alternate routes at stand still, like 4th July fireworks traffic. Where was traffic control? Plus during school drop off, pick up morning, afternoon hours. Worst time of year, right before busy Thanksgiving upcoming shopping weekend. Usually road work is done late summer right before school starts.
Earlier in week, milling was done on side streets off N. Pleasant.
Folks, it’s a pain when a road is closed.
But the Village did it right. Friday and Monday. Two days, not consecutively in the middle of a work week.
**And “Worst time of year, right before busy Thanksgiving upcoming shopping weekend”?
How about, “Good! Perfect time to make nice streets! Right BEFORE busy Thanksgiving shopping weekend!”
Bad timing we will say.
shit is whack. Cars piled up by the carwash, can’t get to the Office to pound Coors Lights. Cars everywhere. Cutting through otherwise quite streets with no regard to speed limits.
Catch me in Midland Park/Waldwick and Glen Rock the next few days. Sheesh, what a mess.
Can’t hate – streets need fixed. Some shit around here is like Aleppo after an Obama carpet bomb.
