Ridgewood NJ, according to the Village Manager Keith Kazmark with the help of the NJ Department of Transportation the Route 17 Ridgewood Park & Ride has recently seen some major improvements. Parking lots have been resurfaced and new signage has been added. The structure on the property will soon be removed and a buffer zone will be created along neighboring property lines with new tree plantings this spring.
Neighbors East and North of the property have criticized the recent clear cutting of trees along the North bound side of Route 17 .

And who is maintaining all this? It looks very nice. It’s about time.
parking for the ball field at Schedler
Let’s HOPE that this unnecessary HUGE and expensive ball field will not happen on Schedler’s property. But if it does, Chris R. is making sure ALL of the existing trees known as Schedler’s woods will be cut down to accommodate parking for these “sports fans”. Not to mention narrowing West Saddle River Rd.{which is already narrow as it is) to accommodate parking on the road as well!!
What a disgrace….
Free parking here means that the Hudson Street Garage will continue to be underutilized.
I am surprised we don’t have an outcry of how this parking lot is on a historic site where some Army guys once set up a tent to sleep overnight.
because it isn’t
There might be an outcry about what an absolute moron you are but you made that very obvious to anyone with any intelligence.
I overheard someone talking about putting the monument, or a statue at that location. I don’t know if that’s a rumor or what nowadays I don’t know what to believe.
Let’s have the state build a park and ride at the Schedler location so we get some tax dollars from it
How about building an aquarium there. Awesome spot.
