Saddle River NJ, at the September 13, 2023 Saddle River Board of Education Meeting, Special Counsel, Kerri Wright and General Counsel, Matthew Giacobbe presented on why the Board has embarked on a feasibility study, what is contained in such a study, how the process works, and our current middle school contract with Ramsey and possible middle school send/ receive options.

The Board is grateful to the members of our community who participated and shared their contrasting perspectives.

The study is required by the state Department of Education when a district is considering a change to its send/receive relationship, the district’s website says. The current send/receive agreement with Ramsey ends June 30, 2024, and the district is required to send a “letter of intent” this month “to keep the credits that are currently in the agreement.”
