Saddle River NJ, after much delay the Borough of Saddle River has scheduled a four-day remote hearing to determine the borough’s compliance with its affordable housing mandate is scheduled to begin Thursday January 21st.
Originally scheduled for last April 28, residents and developers filed a series of objections which delayed the proceedings. In February the borough announced that it had an agreement on terms of the settlement with the Fair Share Housing Center which called for 247 units on five sites, 100 market-rate and 147 affordable.
