Ridgewood NJ, over the weekend we could not help but notice signs springing up over town. On August 31st we reported that a new sign had sprung up at the historic Zabriskie-Schedler Property from Matrix New World an environmental engineering firm hired by the Village to test all the “free soil” dumped on the property to create the berm .
This weekend a similar sign happened to pop up at the Irene Habernickle Family Park home to Healthbarn. No evidence of where the contaminated area is was not marked .

Why doesn’t the Village Cue identify the 5‘ x 5‘ contaminated area at Habernickel? What is the issue?
The issue is I am sure it’s bigger than that and their is a business there based around playing in the mud

If you call the telephone number at Village on this sign, you get an automated attendant and you have no idea who to call next. And surprise surprise there is nothing listed about this on the Village website.
Why did the sign go up after the Healthbarn camp season was over? Shouldn’t the people who attended camp get notified of this?
Exactly, they screwed up again, let me tell you something. These people in upper management are sneaky bastards. They don’t give a hoot about anyone but themselves there you go you had kids playing there all summer. It should’ve never happened. How is this not on all the major networks, what the hell is going on? There’s major contamination throughout the village, I could understand if someone called CNN then they will post some bullshit story, but come on all the major networks should be involved. Wait until individual start getting sick. People thought this was a joke with the story First came out, it’s no joke. It’s all well. Good now down the road when you have individuals that can’t breathe and they’re on a machine to get them oxygen then what, I know for myself I’m protecting my health. Many resident can’t believe this is right near backyard, this shit usually happens down on the turnpike. Well, it’s right in the village. Oh yes.
They are counting on “ down the road” because if they hide this contamination no one will trace it back
I would avoid all parks with dirty dirt
