Fort Lee NJ, officials announced on Tuesday evening that two individuals at the Skyview Motel on Bergen Boulevard (Route 46) in Fort Lee are suspected to have succumbed to drug overdoses.
In response to an emergency call around 1:40 p.m., the Fort Lee Police Department found five individuals at a rented room in the motel who were in and out of consciousness, displaying symptoms consistent with an overdose. The officers administered medical assistance, including Naloxone, but unfortunately, two victims were later pronounced deceased. The remaining three individuals were transported to a local hospital.
Chief Jason Love and the Fort Lee Police Department are conducting a thorough investigation into the drug overdoses. At this time, the names of the victims have not been released.
