PATERSON NJ, Trump Derangement Syndrome is propelling U.S. Rep. Bill Pascrell, Jr. (D-NJ-09) and Sen. Bob Menendez (D-NJ) who wrote to U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) Commissioner Dr. Stephen Hahn calling on his agency to be guided by science and not “politics or political interference” in granting approvals for therapeutics to combat COVID-19.
Trump Derangement Syndrome is an affliction suffered by many President Trump haters . What ever the President says or does you have TDS makes you support the opposite . Examples include media praising North Korea, Iran and other assorted terrorist organizations around the world. And yes your death would be a small price to pay.
In the latest example long suffering U.S. Rep. Bill Pascrell, Jr. (D-NJ-09) and Sen. Bob Menendez (D-NJ) are attempting to interfere with treatment options for coronavirus treatment due to TDS.
On March 30th ,the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) issued an Emergency Use Authorization (EUA) to BARDA to allow hydroxychloroquine sulfate and chloroquine phosphate products donated to the Strategic National Stockpile (SNS) to be distributed and prescribed by doctors to hospitalized teen and adult patients with COVID-19, as appropriate, when a clinical trial is not available or feasible.
So here is the science :
HCQ has the ability to prevent the virus from entering the cell, as well as to prevent the virus from replicating. HCQ has the unique factor of being able to accumulate high concentrations in the lungs (specifically where it is needed). What is also appealing is the long duration (22 day half-life) of HCQ in the body. These factors make it promising for early treatment if ingested days before the virus is introduced.
After initially being downplayed by the media ,a Florida man diagnosed with coronavirus claims he was saved from certain death by an anti-malaria drug touted as a possible treatment by President Trump.
A recent French peer review study by renowned infectious disease specialist Dr. Didier Raoult which was published in the International Journal of Antimicrobial Agents showed promising results in the treatment of COVID-19 with Hydroxychloroquine (HCQ).
The French study also showed a significant decrease in “viral shedding,” from patients treated with HCQ. The lower the shedding, the less likelihood that the virus can be communicated to other individuals.
Building on his previous study world famous French infectious disease specialist Dr. Didier Raoult submitted an additional study of 60 patients treated with a combination of HCQ and Zithromax (Azithromycin is generic for Zithromax). Of the 80 patients, all but one survived.
Dr. Stephen Smith of the Smith Center for Infectious Diseases is treating all his patients with HCQ. No patient he treated has needed to be vented. Dr. Amesh Adalja uses HCQ only and has seen good results. Dr. Zev Zelenko claims to have treated 350 patients with zero deaths and zero hospitalizations.
The most interesting and hopeful broad-based development is the use of HCQ as a “preventative therapy.” Recently, almost 70 doctors, scientists and health care providers signed a letter encouraging the use and further study for HCQ to be used in the prevention of the spread of COVID-19.

There isn’t enough space on the internet to fully reply to this, so let me be brief:
1 – When you go to war unexpectedly, you go with the army you have (HCQ), not the army you wish you had.
2 – if the use of HCQ saves only ONE life from COVID-19, its use is warranted.
3 – if either of these two signatories test positive for the Wuhan coronavirus, DENY them HCQ.
But all seriousness aside, if HCQ is a cure for TDS, put it in the House of Representative water fountains – then maybe conducting The Peoples’ Business can resume.
I’ve seen some interesting info on what also may help. There have been recent proponents talking about taking 50-100mg of Zinc along with 3-4 oz of tonic water (contains quinine) to stay healthy. Also if you got the covid then the zinc was proposed to be like 500mg in a day plus an unspecified amount of tonic water. Maybe its a wives tale but im taking it. And judging by the lack of Zinc at the drugstores, so are others. This doctor seems to make the point. take it for whatever its worth. sure beats getting sick. Worth watching.

The MSM and particularly CNN, have been digging themselves deep into this anti- hydroxychloroquine narrative since Trump first mentioned it. It has been their “we got him” moment. However, it soon became apparent that DT was right with respect that it appears to be generally effective but there are side effects and therefore we need to use it. The MSM doubled-down and have been going with the Trump is going to kill people with his unscientific advice narrative. DT had made it clear that any use of the hydroxychloroquine would be up to the attending physician. These press briefings are absurd. No useful questions, but instead, just “let’s see if we can get him” questions. They are evil.
